- While not mandatory, it would be beneficial to have clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
This course requires you to provide evidence of your English proficiency set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. There are two ways you can do this:
Proof of previous studies in English
You can meet the English language requirements with previous study if:
- You attended and successfully complete at least six years of primary and secondary education taught and assessed solely in English AND this included at least two years in secondary school (between Year 7 and 12) AND this was completed in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United States of America, Canada, Republic of Ireland or the United Kingdom
English language skills test
You can meet the English language requirements if you complete one of the following English language tests within two years of the course commencement date:
- IELTS score A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band
- TOEFL – IBT score A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 24 in Reading and Listening, 27 in Writing and 23 in Speaking
- Pearsons Test of English A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 68 in each band
