The aim of PEP is to immerse you in the professional culture of nursing and to gain a better understanding of the diverse roles of the registered nurse within the health care system in Australia. All Professional Experience Placements are completed in a full-time capacity, regardless of the study mode you are undertaking.
Theoretical studies are held on campus and online and students undertake professional experience in healthcare locations, including rural and community, throughout Tasmania and NSW. Costs associated with travel, accommodation and uniforms are met by students. Please note that students are allocated to Professional Experience Placements subject to availability and students may be required to travel and relocate.
